Introductory Statement in Relation to Mental Health Services.

Eunistar provides specialist mental health and offender care services.  We are responsible for ensuring individuals in our care receive quality healthcare services.  Our team consists of nurses, social workers, support workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Our mental health and offender care service provide:

Mental health and Wellbeing Services.

Eunistar can provide mental health and wellbeing services in the comfort of your own home.  Based on your level of need, our specialist team are flexible and able to conduct home visits according to your schedule and time.  We adopt the Home Treatment model of care which is suitable for individuals with a range of diagnoses and conditions.  We are able to meet your needs 24/7  a day, 365 days a year and you must be referred by a health or social care professional.

Alternative to Inpatient Psychiatric hospital.

It can be daunting for individuals to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital especially if it is their first admission. Eunistar provide is an alternative to hospital admission.  Individuals are admitted to one of our crisis houses for a period of up to 28 days.  Our property for mental health are no more than 4 bedroom as we believe the need for more. Personalised care and treatment as we support in reducing the crisis need.

It is important to note that individuals whose needs are more complex may require an order under the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards to ensure risks are reduced and safeguarding activities take place.

Our properties are also considered a Place of Safety for individuals detained under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act 1983.  Individuals cannot be detained in our property for more than 24 hours only with exceptional cases and a written extension of up to 12 hours only. Eligibility criteria: Cannot be under section 2, 3, 4 of the Mental Health Act 1983 and under 18s.
